Austin Exploration Inc. utilizes both LaCoste & Romberg air damped gravity meters with digital acquisition and control systems, the  ZLS fluid damped dynamic gravity meters and  the MicroG LaCoste Air-Sea Gravity Meter System II for marine data acquisition.

All of our marine gravity equipment is “state of the art” and periodically checked out by the factory to insure optimum performance in the field.

Magnetic data are recorded using either Geometric G-882 cesium vapor precession magnetometers (standard towing configuration) or Marine Magnetics “SeaSpy” Overhauser magnetometers.

The “SeaSpy” magnetometer can be used in either a standard tow configuration or the sensor can be towed from the seismic contractors gun array with minimal interfacing
